1 MARCH 2026 | MATCHDAY 6 | ONE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

OneFC concludes its Pot Stage on the anticipated Matchday 6. Teams gave their best to secure playoff spots and improve their position ahead of Knockout Rounds scheduled on 8 March 2026.
The standout result came in the U8 category, where Blue Panthers FC recorded a dominant 16–0 victory over Just Play SA, the biggest win of Matchday 6.

The Power Play rule was automatically enforced mandatory on Matchday 6 for any team that had not used it in previous matchdays, leading to a shuffle up in the standings and Points Table.
The OneFC theme for the week was Social Responsibility - #GoalsBeyondGoals, a campaign that highlights that football is not only about scoring goals on the field but also about making a positive impact beyond the game.

As part of the initiative, every player received a sapling to give back to nature and show appreciation to Mother Earth. Players were also briefed about the sapling and the seed paper card attached to it, and were guided on how to plant and care for it.

Matchday 6 also featured the PCL (Parent’s Champions League), where parents stepped onto the field as players and competed in 3v3 matches. A total of five matches were played, including a special match that featured only mothers, adding a fun and engaging element to the day.
