Ascend S&C powers-up player performance at OneFC

22 FEB 2026 | MATCHDAY 5 | ONE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Second week of action kicked off in the Pot stages of the U10 and U12 category. Teams pushed for favourable results to stay in the mix as OneFC approaches elimination on Matchday 6. 


In U8, the competition continued to intensify, with the standings growing tighter each week.


The headline result of the round came in the U12 category,

where CR7 Soccer Schools delivered a dominant 11–1 triumph over Esperion FC, recording the most emphatic victory of Matchday 5.

The strategic use of the Power Play was evident across several fixtures as teams looked to strengthen their positions in the standings.


OneFC theme for the week was Strength and Conditioning, delivered in collaboration with Ascend Strength & Conditioning. We were joined by Mr. Sachin S, ASCA level 1 Coach and Mr. Aravind KR, UEFA Grassroots Leader and their team, who conducted structured sessions focused on educating overall athletic performance. 



Matchday featured an exciting Obstacle Course Challenge for players and parents, encouraging community participation. 

In addition, the high energy Lightning Dash (Running Race) saw players sprint to determine the fastest player for each category.

Player - Aaditya, Conscient Sports

Men's - Neelesh, Lakshyan AOS

Women's - Nitha, Lakshyan AOS


Lightning Dash Winners:

U8 (40 meters) - Jayden, AIFA - 7.10 secs

U10 (50 meters) - Sidharth, Rapt FA - 8.22 secs

U12 (50 meters) - Ashish, VFA - 7.88 secs
